Bob
Adams-Owner/Operator
I was born and raised in rural Alaska and have been guiding since
1974. Adams Guide Service is a family run business with over 30
years of guiding and 8,000 hours of flying experience. In 1980,
I started guiding in western Alaska where we now offer all of our
guide services. I believe this area offers some of the best hunting
opportunities in Alaska for moose, caribou, and grizzly. I know
the area extensively, and I can get you to where the game is with
minimal hunting pressure and no crowds.
Camp Life
The base for all hunting and fishing is our camp and airstrip
on a remote river in the Kilbuck Mountains, about 75 miles east
of Bethel. We have a comfortable main lodge building where we
provide delicious home-cooked meals. Our living accomodations
in main camp are wall tents with wood floors and stoves. A hot
shower can also be found in main camp.
There are
great opportunities for hunting moose, bear & caribou from
camp. Fishing opportunities abound from our base camp, too. Char,
grayling and three species of salmon can all be found only a 3
minute walk away. Check out the "Fish Alaska's Southwest"
icon to the left for more fishing information.
Location
Our main camp is scenically situated between three mountain ranges
and at the convergence of three rivers. Tundra surrounds our site
with most journeys leading up into the Kilbuck Mountains.
