Grizzly
& Black Bear - 10 Day Spring Hunts
Two hunts (mid-April through late May) in the Spring
bring you unrivaled opportunities for getting grizzly and black
bear. Typically, all Spring bear hunts are done with the use of
a snowmachine or by flying out in a Super Cub to known denning areas.
We then head out on snowshoes. I have a wheel-ski equipped Super
Cub which allows me to land in a variety of areas. Spotting bear
tracks is easy with snow still on the ground. The last three springs
have been excellent hunting, and we have had almost a 100% success
rate. Spring in Alaska offers endless daylight for glassing!

Brown Bear in Yukon Refuge - 12 Day Spring
Hunts

am the sole permit holder for brown bear in the Refuge, an area
of over 10 million acres. No other hunting pressure. It doesn't
